have a problem...........sky view will not open how do i reset it or check for problems? one other thing when i push the button to close the Sky view i get a clicking or grinding sound..........i did take the motors down and cleaned the teeth on them. put them back in and problem still happens

The short lived lamella roof option on the ML was a catastrophe. I am actually surprised if this is the first issue you've had since '99 on it. They are noisy, they rattle, they leak and are very prone to expensive mechanical failure. This is something that you will need to take to a MB facility.
