This is only in reference to one particular sales woman I dealt with and probably doesn't reflect the overall sales staff.
I usually pop into dealerships once in a while to check out the new lines coming out just for kicks. I struck up a conversation with one older saleswoman here to talk about the new line of c230 coupes to see what new features have been added.
Long story short... she insisted that the 2002 c230 had the exact same engine as the current line. Ok I'll let that one slide considering it 'may' not be widely known that the '02 c230 has a 2.3l vs. a 1.8l... no big deal. But she also insisted that the c230 and the c320 both had a V6 engine. I stopped talking to her because she wasn't providing me with any valuable and credible information.
Seriously... how reputable can a salesperson be if they don't know basic details of the products they are trying to sell.
