Ok. I am the very happy owner of a 2001 E 430 with Command. Now, there is no CD Player in the trunk and I would like to mount my IPOD
instead.
I have tried to get a straight answer from Denison on their product, but
I am underwhelmed by their customer service and support replies.

Any one have experience and can guide a neophite through the jungle of
non standard accesories?

Thank you very much
Jim

If you have a command dont you have access to a aux/line in? That would be your best solution, you may not be able to control your ipod from the steering wheel but the amount of control the iceLink would give you is not that great anyways. I believe that your aux/line in maybe in the right side of the glove compartment or in the center console.

Also keep in mind it is better to use the line out from the dock of your iPod instead of the headphone jack. Check out one of these products for the dock line out:

Sik Imp

This could give a better quality sound since line out is from the dock

Belkin Auto Kit for iPod

There is also a RF remote control you can buy (i think it is iJet) that way you could use a remote control to navigate through you iPod.

Not all cars with COMAND had the Aux In wiring installed.
