Install CD changer 2004 CLK500 Cabriolet [Archive]

Found the power and fiber cables under the Headunit and tray after I take the center woodgrain around Headunit off. Be careful with the torx screws on both sides near the ashtray hidden from view. I broke those pulling the woodgrain faceplate off to get to the bottom of headunit. It snaps right back though. I also disassembled the glove compartment to reroute the cables into the precut holes of the glove compartment. It was no big deal to mount the changer in the glove box after I found the cables. Also, the fiber cable is Orange with a Green top on it. The power cable is taped to the fiber cable.

PS - I still had to take the car into the Benz shop to make the Headunit reconize the changer through the computer.
