Hi gang,
I have owned an old 240D, a mid 90s SL500 and a C230. All were really nice cars when they ran but had the usual problems with electronics(the C and SL) and the AC and I ended up having to go to the dealer to fix. I am trying to find a repuatable shop in the Austin area that will take care of my car without charging me dealer pricing to do so. I realize that these cars are expensive to own, but I also own a BMW and have a shop that does fantastic work at reasonable prices, and they don't try and sell me things I don't need.(a problem with the local Mercedes dealer in town). Does anyone know of a shop in Austin that they trust and is reasonable?
