My check engine light came on and I was able to retreive the following codes:

p0715 and p0720.

Any advise on this? It seems the car is stuck in 'limp mode". I would appreciate any help.

I'm sorry, but I can't help. I don't know what the codes mean. The only help I can offer is to tell you to contact a dealer or qualified independent shop.

it's a feature for safe driving and to prevent further damage in the transmission if a critical fault has occured. this problems are stored in your ETC and a car scanner is needed to retrieve it. with limp-home mode 2nd gear is selected in D position and reverse gear is also available for you to drive to the nearest shop. if it's a hydraulic fault, the transmission does not shift out of the gear currently engaged. if the control solenoid valves are faulty, the gear affected is locked out and cannot be engaged anymore.
