bought 70 250s with dual carbs, sitting for 5 years in underground garage. immaculate w/ a/c auto w/ 145k miles.
smokes alot during decell. dump a molotave of chemicals in oil hoping to free up rings. worked until recent oil change and decided to install higher thermostat(195f). any ideas, i.e. rings or valve stem seals?
lots of blow by in valve cover vent tube.
if requires reringing/ valve stem seals, whats cost.
been porsche man for years, relatively new to benzs.
i'm an engineer, so quite familiar w/ how things work.
