Hi--I am new to this forum and would like to get some information, if possible. I am going to look at a 1973 450SL for possible purchase. The car has 114K miles and has been stored for approximately 14years. What issues should I be looking for? When i spoke with the current owner, he said the car runs but idles very rough. It also needs an exhaust manifold gasket. He is asking $5500 for the car. If the physical condition of the car is what he says, it sounds like a very good price. However, what else should I be looking for?
