a buddy of mine owns a shop in louisville, ky- he has a 91 190e 2.3 thats been sitting there for a year now. it needs a new fuel distributor, a tune up, and a driver's side window. not too much work- but he wants nothing to do with it. is that car worth fixing and selling? or should i just part it out to help others fix their's? i can get the car for nothing, and i can fix it....i just want to know if i'll see some money out of it that way. everything else on the car is in good shape.

If you can get the car for free I don't see how you can go wrong. The 190s do nothing for me but I sure do see a lot of them around here. That car is old enough that they're showing up in the U-Pull-It yards where prices are dirt cheap. Whenever an early W124 come in I go nuts pulling modules, switches, lights, etc. If you're handy go for it.
