Well, i am thinking to buy 1996 C220, i live in Azerbaijan.

Usually ppl who trade with cars bring Mercedes from Germany, Dubai, or USA, as i know there are two types of 1996 C klass, German type, and US type...

in our country, US type is cheeper than German type...for about 1200$... (US type is one which has miles on speed panel...etc) i hope u understand me what i mean...

so, the car which i am going to buy is US type, 1996 C220, with Leather seats, Climate Control AC, automatic seats, seat warming, automatic transmission (without sport mode)

well, i said to that guy that before buying this car i am going to bring it to MB shop, for diagnostics, in our country it costs 13$ to check Mercedes in Mercedes-Benz service, with computer.

one thing which seems strange to me is.... The guy who showed me this car (the car is not his, but belongs to another man who bought it from him too) said that this man didnt drive more than 2000km when bought it. Then i spoke with that man, he said, that when he bought it, he changed oil, and now before selling the car changed oil again.... that looks strange to me... why to change oil only after 2000km???? maybe it burns oil???

and how do u guys think, 111 engines are good or no??? can they burn oil??? this C 220 is 1996, with 120 000 km on it...

and another question, can computer diagnostics say me is engine ok or no???

and, is it bad that its automatic transmission doesnt have sport mode???

ok thank u very much!!!
