The driver's side sun visor does not stay snug to the headliner anymore. It droops and is a constant pain.
Is there any way to fix this aside from spending $600 for a replacement?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

To be honest, I might be thinking of my Pontiac. I think if you remove the visor and dissassemble the hinge, there a little adjuster screw that rubs against the hinge, if you tighten it, it'll rub into the hinge alittle harder, holding it into place better. But the more I think of it, I think that was on my Pontiac. If that's the case, maybe you do have to replace it. I don't think it'll hurt to pull it off and see what you can find, or rig up.
Thanks, but sadly there's no such adjustment on the arm from where it screws into the headliner. It appears to be internal and I can't seem to get at it. I don't think there is a way unless some knows for sure. I took off the mirror but can't get at the internal rod and "spring" that makes it stay tight to the headliner.
Thanks for the reply.
