ok so i found a car for sale and im looking for a little help...
i mostly stick to bitish cars...i have jags and a MG right now.
i saw this benz though and it got me thinking.....its a 1973 280 SEL 4.5
it has a very good service history and looks to be mostly original. has new paint. seats and wood look like they need a good cleaning and a refinish but good. runs and drive great. i havent seen the car in person but am told that is it fairly rust free.....

i want to know more about the cars "specs"
i want to know the cars value
what should i look for in the car? what is the big cost of these cars?
i see them for sale at all kinds of prices....some that look great for $1000 and crap that sells for twice that. even ok cars that the owners are asking $12,000......why such a big gap?

truth be told i want to buy this car are resell it in a year or so and make a few bucks....any help would be great
