:o For $500, I purchased today a running 450SE. No dents, almost ALL of the chrome is still there, and NO oil leaks! There is a leak at the right side y in the muffler, which is already in the shop being fixed, but it otherwise runs strong.

I was wondering if anyone has any similar projects, finished or not, to help out with some input, extra parts, etc.

I was told that it had a former life in Germany as a government vehicle, which is confirmed by the R instead of an E at the empty side of "TANK". Also, pretty much everything in the car is in German, besides the heat controls, and speedo.

If you have it for sale, I need:
the square glass part of the headlights,
to know what the "ABCDEF" dial behind the shift column is,
what kind of laquer to use for restoring one bad part in the dash,
trunk latch/lock assembly.
