Just take the car to autozone. They can check the alternator with it in the car.

Please ... It Is Too difficult to do it yourself

1st ... the battery terminal need to be disconnected
2nd ... when you reconnect back the battery terminal
3rd ... do you have STAR (M/B tester) to reset it ??

The Alternator is not easy to remove ..
first you have to remove the belt
then only can remove the alternator ...

when the alternator been removed ..
you have to remove the rear cover ... for the regulator

and the regulator ... probably not avialable ..

If The Alternator is faulty ... Replace it

CHECK THE CHARGING VOLTAGE ... use a voltmeter to check on it
if the charging voltage is good ...
nothing wrong with the alternator ......
