I've just ordered an E Class Coupe, but won't receive it till March/April. I'm told this is due to Panoramic Sun Roof manufacturing delays. Does anyone know about this?

I've not heard anything particular but with this global recession some commodities and specialised items may take longer to produce.

I have been told the problem with the panoramic sunroof still exists. I ordered my E-coupe 250 CGI 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting for a delivery time. Initially I was told March but now am told April/May if I still want the sunroof...
It looks like there might be some defect with the part or the supplier/manufacturer has gone bankrupt or something...

Mercedes Benz do rely on outsourcing many specialised parts, so the pano top supplier may be facing many delays because of the World-wide recession.

The pano roof will be well worth waiting for though ;)
