Engine swap 79 450sl

What newer engine will replace my 79 450SL, engine #11798512038804??

There are a lot of Merc engines that would fit, but would you be able to get them to run is a better question. What are you looking for out of the engine? Unless you are trying to do something special, I would just swap in the same engine. At least then, you know it will work.
