Lease Assumptions

Anyone have any information on lease assumptions. Money being tight right now and me telling my family to tighten up, I am looking to buy my car back from the leasing company but the price of the buy back option is very high. The dealership is not being really helpful. I am about to walk away from the car in three weeks. Anyone out there with some advice?

If the dealer can't work something out for you, then you may need to walk away. I had the same thing happen to me when I wanted to buy out my lease and the dealer did not want to help at all.
