hello everyone-

i have made my first mercedes purchase today!
The car is a 1983 300CD Turbo-
The body is in great shape- White w. tan interior, no rips or anything.
350,000 on the car when new engine was put in. (60,000 miles on the engine currently)
Known issues- needs new instument cluster.
needs new throttle linkage
needs new altenator
It drives very well and feels very solid.

looking forward to getting it all fixed up!
I could use some online resources w/ info about these cars and general troubleshooting etc. I will have a mechanic take a look and ultimately he will do the work- but would like to learn more in the mean time.
