2002 C230 Sound System

Is there a way I can play my iPod or other MP3 devices through my standard (no CD player) 2002 C230 Coupe sound system? Or is there a after market CD player. I do not want to pay big bugs for a MB CD deck.

You'll have to check the manual for specifics. But, there is an outlet in your glove compartment where you can plug in external devices. A friend of mine who recently obtained a C320 plays his iPod in that method. I think he just had to buy the correct type of cord for it.

ipods are cool, and i'm in the same situation. lynn, mwkwan wrote NO CD - so, so comand, me thinks? that owner went to a lot of trouble to broadcast in the car. geez. :roll:

there's no way to get the ipod tunes into your coupe. maybe your next benz - the new ones will have most, which is based on firewire, therefore the units will have controllers. for 2db, tho, we're sol.

for the ipod, search the web for netopia's transpod for your car, or ccrane's fm transmitter, which has gobs more juice than the pos soundfeeders or irocks - and you can take them with you.
