Just purchased the carrier and ski rack attachment from my MB dealer yesterday. Also had received the MacNeil weatherflectors a few weeks ago. Set up the rack system on the car so, if anyone was curious, they could check it out. Sorry about the poor picture quality, the light wasn't in my favor. Will post four pictures.

Yes, it's supposed to be good for snowboards also.

Hey Mark, where did you get your weatherflectors??? :?: They look so nice as they are flush with the car unlike the other ones that stick out and ruin the shape of the car! thanks in advance..

They were ordered from the MacNeil Website (http://www.weathertech.com/main.asp). Since the coupe only has front windows, the price isn't bad at all. They do compliment the car very well. Thanks for your comments.

I was wondering if you have had luck finding other, non-mercedes mounting units for these load bars. I have the same load bars as you do, but I want to find a fork-mount bike carrier. Mercedes only offers an upright bike carrier.


The grooves on the top surface of the bars seem to be a very secure system of attaching things, but do you know of any other manufacturers that make products that will fit into the grooves of our racks?
