As a movie fan and MB enthusiast, I can't help but notice when Mercedes-Benz automobiles appear on the screen. I recently watched Ronin on DVD. What a great car chase scene! :D The DiNero character is in a 450 SEL 6.9 careening around the south of France. At one point he has his head sticking out of the sunroof with a bazooka. The director's audio commentary indicates that DiNero is actually traveling near 100 miles per hour doing the stunt. The director, John Frankenheimer praised the stunt drivers, all of whom raced LeMans or were Formula One drivers.
Some other notable film featuring MBs:
North by Northwest (1959)
The Driver (1978)
All the James Bond films (they have been more Mercedes on screen than any other make, usually driven by the bad guys)
Groundhog Day
The Witches of Eastwick
Trading Places
The movie "10"
The Peacemaker
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Firm
Three Kings
Meet the Parents
Anyone have other favorite films or TV shows that feature MBs?
The Peacemaker is pretty good, I love the Benz scene :)

I actually notice songs now that mention Mercedes Benz. Pink's Get the Party Started is one of my favorites and I always turn it up if I'm in the car when I hear it!!!

Just watched "Enemy of the State" last night on TV. I came in late, but in the scene where Jon Voight kills the Senator, isn't the Senator standing next to a Mercedes? Is it maybe a 300SEL 6.3?
Interestingly, Gene Hackman is kind of reprising a role he played in a 1974 film that also featured a M-B, a 600.
In the 1974 film "The Conversation" he plays a communications specialist who is doing surveillance on a woman and her boyfriend. The woman is played by Cindy Wlliams (of Laverne & Shirley fame), and a young, pre-Star Wars Harrison Ford has a minor role. These are the characters who show up in a silver 600 Grosser in a few scenes.

As a fan and owner of a W116 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, it always gets my eye when I see one on TV or the big screen. I recently noticed a couple of gas versions of the W116 in some episodes of the old TV show Magnum PI. Of course it is always the bad guys that drive the MBZ with Magnum in the red Ferrari.
There's a 600 in the funeral scene (last scene) of the movie "Royal Tennenbaums". The director Wes Anderson seems to like interesting cars and notably Mercedes, much like Frankenheimer. Anderson's older, more obscure movies feature Mercs as well.
