New car Break in for C230scng 03-03-2003, 01:57 PM Anyone know that if I need to break in for my new C230? The saleman told me that all the MBs have already break in when the cars were in the factory. It is my understanding that the primary purpose of a break-in is to insure that the piston rings are seated properly. The effects of an improper break-in arise thousands of miles down the road. | |
