adding a amp to factory system

I want to use factory mains but also want to ad a sub woofer and amplifier to the existing system. Has anybody done this are the decks standard? Oh yhea this is being done on the non upgrade factory system for the c230, any info would be helpful.

You may have to use line level converters on the speaker outputs to connect an aftermarket amp. There are no line outputs.

Yhea that is the way I have been doing it with previous vehicles. I have one more question in case you have seen the back of the deck. Do you know if it has line level inputs on the back of the deck? I am hoping to be able to hook up my I-POD. Thanks in advance.
