After watching car and driver today I realize that the new Mercedes C Class engine the I-4 make 194hp its a 1.8 L Turbo
In my car I have the 104 model engine, the I-6 194hp engine 2.8L there has to be some way to make it have more power mercedes must have tuned it down? Its .2 off a 3.0L my other cars have various engines my other 3.0L which is not a mercedes makes about 265Hp is it that much different or are mercedes tuned down.
I would like some bolt ons that I can do. I am very mechanically inclined and would like to bump the 194 up to 250 or more any ideas other than Nitrous ?
Headers, high flow cat, high flow muffler, chip, ITG air filter.

more information would be appreciated, what would that cost ?
A Power Chip Group chip is about $400. http://www.powerchipgroup.com/interact/datasheets/datasheets_two.asp?pid=Mer0134
I don't see any headers available for your car. Mufflers run $500 up. www.eisenhaus.com for Eisenmann. For Supersprint see http://www.evosport.com/product/exhaust/exhaust_mercedes.html
Remus/Sebring also make mufflers.
As far as high flow cats, please search the internet.
ITG filters: http://www.itgfilters.com/
And don't forget our hosts here on the forum http://www.importpartsonline.com/ They are Renntech dealers and can get the camshaft kit, if you want to open up the engine.
You might also consider a Mosselman twin turbocharger kit. 285hp. http://www.mosselmanturbo.com/index2.htm

I was thinking of getting a sebring exhaust my friend has a contact that can get them at a very aforable price how does it compair to the others ?
As for the chip do you know of anyone who has had one installed. For the cost and hp increase its not worth it to me, is it noticable hp increase ? Not shure but my car might allready have a header type manfold on it? it looks pretty cool. How do the itg filter compare to the K&N proformance filiters.
So a basic open up the air flow and exhaust sould get about 50Hp ?
The turbo kit is just what i am looking for 285 and 405Nm and a camshaft or two
Sebring is the parent of Remus and is considered a little better in quality than Remus, and Remus is pretty good.
I don't know of anyone who is using a chip on a normally aspirated car. I know of several users of Power Chips on C230k's and with one exception they are happy and say their is a noticable increase in performance. The exception experienced multiple BAS/ESP errors. He was happy with the performance, though. He and others do report that the customer service they received from Power Chips was excellent. I may buy from them next spring.
I doubt that you will get anywhere near 50 hp from the exhaust and filter. If your exhaust manifold is good you might get 5 to 10 from a cat back, 2 to 5 from the ITG, and maybe another 5 from a high flow cat.
The ITG flows better than the K&N and traps dirt better.
If you get the Mosselmann turbo kit, you will replace you exhaust manifold. I would take the car to a muffler shop with experience in building custom exhausts for turbo cars and have a high flow system built for the car including high flow cats. After the turbo kit, exhaust system and cam shafts are installed, I would work with a chip tuner like Power Chips to optimize the chip. I can see no reason why you would not be on the far side of 300hp.
Good luck with your project and keep us informed. Just remember, this is a Mercedes and these mods will be expensive.

I think when I get some more money I might swap the engine for a V-8 that fits maybe one with a little more power than the C43
