I have a '98 C280. I love the car but it has a serious dead spot in the steering. If you rdrive straight ahead you can feel a real vague spot and you can move the wheel back and forth with little or nor movement by the car. Anyone else had this problem? If so, what was the remedy?

I think the W202's have a recirculating ball type steering box. It may need to be adjusted or replace. Also, new tire rod ends and or supension/steering bushings could help.
