Hey guys, I'm in the process of buying a 92 400E. Right now it has 16s wiht 205/55s that are basically bald. I need to replace the tires if I decide to buy it, and my friend's dad has some stock 17s with 255/55s from his 03 SL500 (put on some chrome 19s) with under 2k miles just sittin in his garage. Would these fit on the E without too much rubbing? I'm pretty sure the bolt patterns are compatible..but if I did my math right, that would make the existing tire/wheel package about 25" tall and the 17s about 28" tall. Also how do I deal with speedo corrections? On my jeep I can just plug in a new speedo gear in the back of the transfer case..but last time i checked 400Es dont have transfer cases... Thanks
