not a diesel, but i just sent in for the 1000000km badge for a client of mines '86 560SL. 633000 certified one owner miles and still running strong.
i wish i had a digital photo to upload. next time the car is in i will remember to take a picture.

The 300SD rolled 444,444 yesterday on the way home. Looks like it will be another couple of years before she has all the same digit lined up again.

I Had the 1983 300 SD when it had 17 miles on and now it read 226,321 miles. However, looking at some of the other posts - I need to get out more.

My dad bought a 1975 240d new, and it died with over 450,000 miles (one replacement engine).

Our current 300D has 257,xxx on the clock but we don't know the history.

Here's the info on my Diesels:

1987 300SDL 299,663 miles
1987 300SDL 228,000 miles
1983 240D stuck at 206,000 miles since 1992

I can only state that the odo works and that it now shows this. I have put the last 200 or so on it since I bought it.
