Fan clutch Removal Please HelpMartinjae23 11-27-2003, 12:17 PM I have a 1987 300e. To replace, you will need either a large 8mm hex wrech or the special thin socket sold at any MB dealer. There is a special tool which holds the fan while you break the freeze of the very tight bolt. Once the fan is removed, replacing the clutch is fairly simple. P. | |
