had 4 new michelin pilot sport A/S installed today
seems like just in time as the forcast calls for 2-4" of snow tonight
looking forward to trying them out in the snow
a question
is there a break-in period for tires?
seems I read somewhere there is
seeing they're far from cheap,I want to do all I can to extend there life

they handle very well in the wet
will let you know about the white stuff

Excellent choice on the tires. Had mine installed in September. Here in Delaware we got about 3-4" today and more coming tomorrow. Handled very well (for a light, low, rear wheel drive car). The "break-in" period as I recall is to wear off the oils used in the manufacturing of the tire. These oils and lubricants will "sweat" from the tire for a while and could possibly cause a loss of traction. In reality I doubt the risk is too serious but you might be cautious of that. I think the duration is 500 miles or so. Hope that helps. You should consult the Michelin website or TireRack for more info.
