I just go my C230K coupe one month ago and drove 1200km.
Last week, as I was going to my job and I suddenly had a message on the computer telling me that there was a problem with the ESP!
But when I took my car again in the evening the message had disappeared...
Since there it seems to be fine again.

Anyone had this kind of message?

This is a common problem. The most common cause is a faulty wiring harness. There is a technical service bulletin regarding this. The other cause is a faulty brake light switch.

I saw the ESP/BAS light twice in the last 2 months on my '02 230K Coupe. The dealer told me it's a common problem and it's a 1 hour job to fix. Unless it because a real nuisance, I'll get it fix at my next service.
