control arm bushingsAl Ramsay 01-25-2004, 08:22 AM I have a '82 300D. It was relayed to me through the previous owner that it needs upper control arm bushings (according to the Import Shop he took it to ). When I look at them they appear to be intact and do not make any abnormal noises. Is there any way to know without a tear down? Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated. My Mercedes shop manual only covers removing the entire front suspension. It is a pretty pathetic manual at best.
