I remember when my Dad's '02 E was in the body shop & the battery had been disconnected for a week, the radio had to be re-coded in order to make it work again. The code was on a card in the glove compartment's literature. I have found no such card among the booklets in my car's manual portfolio. Does the comand /nav radio have a secret code like the old radios? How can I find out what the code is?

go to your dealership and bring something that says you own the car. an advisor will be able to provide you with the radio code.

Does only the selling dealer have this info or would my local dealer's service dept have access to it in a computer system? Thanks!
I thought that MB stopped using radio codes. The 203's do not have them.

the 203's don't have a radio code because the unit does not pop out with radio keys.
