Trying to find a dash mounted OEM navigation system for my 1998 ML 320 or at least a great alternative. Anyone got some ideas for me? Thanks.

you can get the parts from the dealer, but it runs upwards of 3k to retrofit the system. my recommendation would be to buy a stand alone unit. they are considerably cheaper (as low as 1/10th the price) and function almost as well. besides, the dash mounted unit looks like an afterthought anyways. it's not hard to rig up a custom bracket for a stand alone nav unit and have it look nicer than the factory one. even if you had a custom shop do all the work and bought a very nice nav unit, you probably wouldn't top 1k.
