'04 E Class Comand/Radio Problem

For the 2nd time since taking delivery in December, I started the car to go to work, radio came on, radio started crackeling, then radio sound quit. CD changer still plays w/ sound but 3 minutes later, still no radio sound.... any similar experiences/solutions? How do I get the radio sound back. Will try the radio lunch time.

there is a software update out now for your audio system. go to the dealer to make sure you have the most current software. if you do, then something needs to be replaced. if not, the update shouldn't take more than a half hour.
