New guy again - 2002 C230 Couple. Is my reading comprehension fading or are the service intervals for my "new to me" car really 10,000 miles. Does this include oil changes? If so, do you all have your oil changed more frequently. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes the 10000mi service intervalle may seem too large but yes MB is designed for. Actually the service intrevalle depends on environment where you drive. For instance in Canada I change the oil twice a year no matter my millage because of the cold. However in Florida (if you are not driving on dirty roads) you can even go beyond 10000mi. Your dealer will advise you on this.

The MB C230 has 8-9 liters of syntetic oil (it is a lot) and it is normal that it lasts longer. Actually racing motorcycles have the same service intervalle.
