Below is a cut and paste from other Forum, look like the E320 Snorkel tube has a bigger size and fit better, just wonder if anyone can post the part number for the Left side snokel tube. Thanks.

Not that it need more power but there is no such thing as too much power… and more air = more power

1: The snorkel tubes that run from the air filter boxes to the grill are not same… the one on the left side (drivers side) has restrictions and a smaller opening than the one on the right side… you can contact your Mercedes dealer and for about $12 bucks you can order the larger tube and it fits right in (p/n# A 1130942182)..

2: I got mine, (P/N A 1130942182) yesterday, from my local MB Dealer here in Illinois, ($11.08 with tax), and installed it without any delay.
I did note, however, that the "square" end of the pipe was slightly larger than the original, so it is a very sloppy fit over the intake section at the front, (the back end of the piece that you indicate can have the front plate cut off). Did you or anyone else have the same observation?

3: you are right it is a sloppy fit... however i had to take my car in for service today and i got a 2004 e320 for a loaner... when i got home i looked under the hood and looked at the snorkle tubes... the one on the driver side is the same size as the passenger side.. both are big... so i am thinking that maybe the drivers side air inlet box on the e320 will fit the e55... and if it does it will cure the sloppy fit and allow even more air in...
