I few days ago the power doors locks began operating very slowly and the engine shut-off took a few seconds. Well the problem is worse; no power door locks and tonight when I pulled in the garage I had to open the hood and use the manual shut off. This is obviously a vacuum problem. Everything else that is vacuum operated is working (including the brakes). I have a shop manual ordered, however, it may be a while it arrives. Does anyone have an idea as to where and/or what line I should be looking for.
Thanks,
Nate

Start in the engine bay to see if you can find vacuum lines that are loose or disconnected. If there is no problem there, pull the carpet out of the engine compartment to expose the vacuum lines going to the door locks. You may not be able to see the broken line, it may be a very small leak; you’ll need to test each line, connection and junction with a mighty vac or similar device. Replace the defective connector or line with a new one(s).

As mentioned previously, this is probably due to a leaking vacuum line. I would also check in the engine bay for any disconnected lines and also check the rubber unions where the hard plastic line is joined. I have also knocked the vacuum line (at the back of the injector pump) off many times when changing the oil, this is where the engine cutoff vacuum switch is located. Keep us posted on what you find.
