I have a friend who has a 2000 (I think) SLK230 and wants to upgrade the headlights. I am a BMW guy so I am not up to date on what options are available for a Benz. Any suggestions? Bext place to get them?

if i am not mistaken, there were factory HID lights available on a 2000 SLK. i would suggest purchasing a set and having them installed. the dealer will have to change the version coding so they work after installatioin. I know you can purchase them through the dealership, although some one on this forum may have a more economically feasible source.
