The boot sometimes locks up in my 2001 c200k. The remote key does not open it although I can hear the actuator. I have to use the manual key, which rather fiddly and takes a bit of effort. It has happened three times in the last year. The car is still under warranty, but the dealer says the boot has to be closed gently, which I always do. The warranty ends in November 2004, and I would like to know if anyone else had this same problem.
