'77 300D ok first problem is my dash lights dont work. checked fuse was fine. second problem is my fuel gauge doesnt work. jumps eraticaly whenever it fells like. and the other major problem is a knock in the front suspension whenever it hits a bump on road. my dad says its the play in the suspension because the bushings are old and drie rotted.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked to make sure your instrument panel is grounded?

I believe your father is correct. It sounds like your brake support (control rod) bushings are worn out.
