New Owner 2017 C300 Coupe - Help a Rookie
I am both new to this forum and a new owner of the C300 Coupe. Marvelous car but some functions are puzzling to me. The 400 page owner's manual is difficult to use and I am a lazy old retired guy and am looking for some simple guidance.
1. I figured out how to raise and lower the coupe using the console button (Pg 172 Owner's Manual) but I was underwhelmed by the range of the "lift". I measured the distance from the street to the bottom of the front bumper. It appears to be less than an inch difference between the raised and lowered positions. Is that the correct range or am I doing something wrong?
2. On the left front portion of the drivers dashboard is a 5 button panel. In position 1 there is a "P on/off" toggle. None of the remaining buttons function because my vehicle does not have heads-up display capability. My question is what is the purpose of this P toggle button? I was instructed by my sales person to engage and disengage the parking brake by using the mechanical switch located below the dashboard on the driver's left. My question is - is the P toggle switch redundant with the mechanical button or is there some other brake controlled by same?
3. Also would like to know if there is a way to activate the rear view camera when not in reverse. There are times when I would like a widescreen view of the traffic behind me when moving forward. My car does not have the 360 degree camera.
