Hello,
I noticed oil all over the oil pan with drips of oil on each screw, I followed the oil up toward the engine and I think one of the lines or gasket is worn not sure, and notice the idle is not as smooth, would you have any suggestion I might start with that I can do myself first?
Hi fellow MB owners! I'm new to Mercedes and REALLY new to this site... I'm about to jump into my first MB - not quite there yet... I'm in the process of getting my finances together to buy a stunning 2001 SLK 320. It has 48M miles on it and looks like it just came off the showroom floor. The lady I'm buying it from rarely drove it (which accounts for the flawless condition) - I took it to the local dealership and they did a pre-purchase inspection which resulted in their words; "this is a great car!" So here's my issue. In order to get the financing, the lender wants a smog check. When she took it in, to BOTH of our surprises, it failed. There's no obvious reason - she drove it a little and went back and they said it was better but still didn't pass. Any thoughts from anyone out there what the problem might be? Hoping it's something simple - don't hav the vehicle yet but I'll be heartbroken if this is the end of the road...

I have a 2008 C230. The engine does not start, and I can't hear the starter. I have high quality light inside the car. What is the problem? Is my battery dead, or something else?

Good day. I own a Mercedes C270, 2005 with 195000km. For the past six months the vehicle takes long to start, but once running it goes well with no jerking. This happens only intermittently, which makes it difficult to find the fault. Injectors and fuel pumps have been checked, two diesel hoses were replaced, "A" service at well known Merc agent was done, there are no effidence of any fuel leaks.
I thought you might have some suggestions to sort this out?
Thank you
Pieter
