Do the ignition lights come on? Do the headlights work?

Hi Everybody,

I have a 2008 C230. The engine does not start, and I can't hear the starter. I have high quality light inside the car. I tried to get a jump start from another car, but nothing heppened and does not start! What is the problem?

The indicator switch is used for the indicators when the ignition is on, when the ignition is off it becomes the parking light switch. Read your owners manual.

It is not the indicator light. It is parking or standing light. It is not flashing. It is just passenger side in rear and front. It is on for some moments and It is off for seconds. It is very strange. Please let me know if someone has any idea. Many Thanks!

When you park your car make sure the indicator switch is off, if you leave the indicator switch in say the left turn position then the left hand parking lights will be on when you switch the ignition off and it gets dark.

Hi everyone, My name is Mehdi. I live in Canada - Ontario. I am very new in Mercedes Forum. I have a Mercedes C230 - 2008. I have a problem with my lights and that is why I am here. So in the midnight when the car is off and everybody is being sleept, the standing/parking light is sometimes off and sometimes on: front and rear and just passenger side! If anybody has any recommendation or solution please let me know. Thanks you so much for helping.
