It's hard for me to remember which cars have which retainers. I believe C-classes like yours simply have a retainer clip on the bulb that holds it into place. I believe you just unplug the connector off the back of the bulb, squeeze the retainer clip off the tabs and they should release. Then the bulb will come right out. I think I'm thinking of the right design. But maybe it has a retainer that you have to twist off in order to remove the bulb. I can't remember. I usually just look at it and then go from there.
The parking light bulb has a metal type clip but the low lamp bulb has some kind of orange plastic thing that may be holding it in place. I can't see anyway to get it undone. It's very hard to get too.
I figured it out but unfortunately discovered my bulbs were Xenon and cost $90.
