With some Mercedes Benz models there occurs a 'Dead spot' with the seat adjustment.
If you have checked fuses try pressing the fore/aft button and at the same time gently try to push the seat forward or backwards. If it does start to move under motor power, when it reaches the stop point it should then re-set itself and hopefully continue working.
If not, suspect the motor
I dropped my works card key under my seat this morning and when I tried to move the seat forward it wouldn't budge. Pressing the fore/aft button at the same time fixed the fault so I'm just posting to say a big thank you to RedLiner for getting me out of a jam.
