Greetings from Vancouver, Canada: New MB Owner
Glad to find this BenzForum as I just picked up an 09 GL this past Thanksgiving weekend as part of the MB pre-owned year end clearance. Got everything done in one afternoon as I traded in my Lexus RX330 for this 7-seater, and surprised my wife with her dream car!
I had plan to seriously look at/buy a 2013 Infinity JX and was going to test drive a 2013 GL but was told stock won't arrive until March 2013. After the test drive, I was sold on this GL given the savings on this 2009 vs a 2013.
Right off the bat I'm looking for help sourcing side running boards (dealer wants to charge $2,700 parts+labour) and DVD head restd for the second row to keep the kids busy on long trips. If anyone can shed some lights on best places to go, please drop a line (locally is even better).
Looking forward to share experience and seek ideas from other MB owners.
