Hi guys, I have a 2002 C230K SC and I've been driving it for the past 2 weeks, I bought the car used...everything seems to be working and driving fine...but whenever the car almost stalls or when I stall the car (I have manual transmission), the Battery/Alternator (Visit Workshop) Light comes on in my LCD as a malfunction. However, when I turn the key all the way to the left to shut off the engine and turn it back on, the malfunction dissappears.
So I'm wondering if this is truly a problem with the Poly-V-Belt as the manual says it or is it just because of stalling a manual car. I have noticed that when I stall other manual cars, they display the battery indicator on the gauge cluster so is this the same thing in a benz? Or what?
Sorry for this being so long, I wanted to describe it in detail for u guys to understand completely what I"m going thru, I don't want to take it to the dealership again...if anyone can help I'd greatly greatly appreciate it....thnx
