Need your Expertise on 1984 CD Turbo Diesel

My girlfriend was driving the car recently and it all of a sudden cut off while going down the road. The car turns over freely, like it wants to start, but seems to not be getting any fuel. I am relatively new to mercedes and still learning about them. I was wondering if anyone had similar issues before and could provide some assistance. Thank you so much.

Well, for starters I'd replace the inline and spin on fuel filter... Use the pump on the IP to prime the system once you're done w/ the swap.

Could be clogged tank screen/faulty lift pump if it's not the filters...
