300D Brake Question

I re-did the brakes on my '81 300D myself recently. The previous owner had worn down the pads so much that the rear driver's side caliper had seized up and instead of replacing it he had simply taken out the pads and pin and had driven around like that (talk about Mercedes abuse!) Suffice it to say the brakes were HORRIBLE! I got a new caliper and rotor and new pads all around and threw them on. Now the brakes are great, but the brake light stays on in the dash - this wasn't happening before I did them. (Note I haven't really been driving the car since I'm working other things, but did cruise up and down the road a few times.) I had noticed that the wear sensor on the front passenger's side was cut and I left it as it was. I do know if I have to balance out the brakes or what not, since I'm not familiar with Mercedes. If I have to do something of that nature, how would I go about doing it? Thanks.
