Hello,
New member here. I am looking at a 1994 E320 Cabriolet to purchase, with 88,000 miles. The AC evaparator has not been replaced, according to existing service records. Dealer/seller told me that evaparators are no longer a problem, now that "there are new sealants available to correct the problem". So I am looking for some advice from the real experts --
Is there an effective way to get around replacement, or should I still budget about $3000 for a future replacement?
Thanks for your help.
